Job Description

Sterling Engineering is a Chicagoland recruiting firm specialized in placing top talent in the Chicagoland area. We have partnered with a well-run machine shop in the far south-Chicagoland suburbs on bringing in a CNC Programmer to join their team. This will be a second shift role.

What the Role Consists Of?
  • Use Edgecam Software to model cutting path and program machines according
  • Perform Program, Set-Up & Tear Down Operations on Horizontal & Vertical Mills (Mori Seiki, DMG, and Brothers)
  • Adjust and reprogram controls at machine cell; knowledge of G-Codes and M-Codes
What Is Needed?

  • 4 years of CNC machining experience 
  • Prior usage of Edgecam
