Title Production Supervisor - 1st  Shift
 
Location: Gaston, NC 28034 (near Gaston College)
 
Hire Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $80-90k (plus Bonus)
 
Summary: Lead our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and enforcing safety regulations. Responsibilities include supervising associates, managing production schedules, and ensuring product quality.
 
Essential Functions
  • Supervise, guide, and ensure quality production while adhering to company values and policies.
  • Lead, mentor, and train associates on manufacturing best practices and safety protocols.
  • Coach and develop team members’ skills to enhance performance.
  • Assess staffing needs and set clear job expectations.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.

Competencies
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to guide and develop staff effectively.
  • Loyal, dedicated, and team-oriented leader who inspires teammates to follow.
  • Proficiency in safety standards and regulations.
