Job Description
Title: CNC Lathe Machinist
Location: Wood Dale, IL
Hire Type: Contract - to - Hire
Shift : 2nd shift (430 pm - 1 am)

Job Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes (preferably HAAS) to machine parts to required specifications.
- Make minor program edits using G and M codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, including geometric dimensions and tolerances.
- Select, load, and use proper machining tools such as drills, taps, and boring heads.
- Perform diversified, close-tolerance lathe operations.
- Verify part conformance using measuring devices and make adjustments as needed.
- Perform basic machining math and trigonometry calculations.
- Conduct machine maintenance and keep tools in working order.
Qualifications:
1–35 years of CNC lathe experience preferred.
- Experience with G and M code programming.
- Experience with HAAS lathes is a plus.
