Hire Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $27–$33/hr

Sterling Engineering is hiring CNC Machinists for a growing, global manufacturer that specializes in electrical grid and power distribution solutions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines in accordance with work instructions
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges)
  • Deburr and clean parts using belt sanders and drill presses
  • Maintain quality standards and production output in a self-directed environment
  • Safely handle parts weighing between 1 lb. and 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of CNC machining and setup experience
  • Strong blueprint reading and shop math skills
  • Experience setting up and operating Okuma and Mazak machines
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
