Title: CNC Machine Operator

Location: East St. Louis, IL (Alorton area)

Hire Type: Direct hire with benefits from day 1 and almost 100% coverage! In addition to 11 paid holidays, 2 weeks vacations, 401K, etc.

Mon-Thur, 4PM to 2:30AM, and Fri 2PM to 9PM. Train on days Mon-Thur 6AM to 4:30PM, and Fri 6AM to 1PM. 

$21.00 + $1.50 shift differential once training is complete
$1 increase after 90 days
Eligible for quarterly production bonuses

Job Summary: Operation of a machine in a production shop environment working with steel materials to produce tracks and crossings.

Job Duties:

  • Machine steel parts and rail according to specification
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Use digital calipers to ensure accuracy
  • Operate overhead cranes
  • Complete production reports with accuracy

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 6 months of manufacturing and/or machine operator experience
  • Must be able to read and use tape measure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be quality oriented and a team player
