CMMS Maintenance Planner
Job Description
- Review equipment and determine what maintenance is needed and how often
- Build and update Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans inside the CMMS system
- Create and upload job plans, task lists, and asset records
- Clean up and standardize existing maintenance documents and convert them into system format
- Make sure equipment is organized correctly in the system (asset structure and hierarchy)
- Work with maintenance and reliability teams to align PMs with real equipment needs
- Support technicians and supervisors as they learn and use the new system
- Provide occasional training sessions across multiple shifts
- Help ensure all maintenance data in the system is accurate and consistent
- Experience in maintenance, reliability, or CMMS-related work
- Proficiency using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Strong mechanical understanding of how equipment works
- Familiarity with production or packaging equipment (e.g., conveyors, fillers, cappers, packers, and palletizers)
- Experience building or improving Preventive Maintenance program
- SAP PM or similar system experience is a plus
