CMM Programmer

• Make dimensional checks and surface checks of angles, holes, hole spacing, contours, tapers, bores, diameters, threads, radii, forms, bearing surfaces, and points of intersection.

• Calibrate and maintain record of inspection tooling equipment and other records as required.

• Read and interpret dimensional, manufacturing engineering, and process drawings to certify that tolerances, surface finish, hardness, etc., are to tolerances shown on drawings.

• Perform prescribed material conformance tests for material identification as required. Create/Modify/Complete inspection reports based on customer requirements. This includes full/first article inspection, PPAP/tooling reports, customer specific inspection reports.

• Perform initial evaluation of returned goods.

• Coordinate nonconforming material activities to ensure issues are addressed in timely manner

• Engage with problem solving activities with engineers, production staff and quality engineers

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of previous inspection related experience

• 3+ years of CMM programming experience with PCDMIS
