Hire Type: Contract to hire

Job Responsibilities: 

  1. Create existing conditions drawings from as-built, GIS, aerial imagery, field notes, and survey data
  2. Set up sheets, title blocks, notes and details as an overall part of a drawing package
  3. Add annotation and dimensions to plot plans, details, and schematics
  4. Plot drawings to PDF for review
  5. Modify drawings as directed by Coordinator, Engineer or Designer
  6. Review and incorporate ENE and client CAD standards into drawing package
  7. Understand CAD file structure in order to make changes in base and sheet files
  8. Onboard new Drafters to team culture and provide tools and information needed to become productive

 

Required Experience:

  1. 2-4 years of general basic CAD related experience or industry experience preferred 
  2. High School Diploma required
  3. Associate degree or completion of related technical school courses or equivalent experience preferred 
  4. Ability to understand instructions and independently carry out assigned tasks 
  5. Must be comfortable reading and interpreting technical documentation
  6. Detail and quality oriented
  7. Strong communication and customer skills
  8. Must be able to travel to project locations with engineers to collect data and make sketches if required
