Are you a tech-savvy CAD enthusiast looking for a unique opportunity to showcase your skills? We have an exciting opening for a CAD Admin in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. As the CAD Admin, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our engineering team and ensuring the smooth operation of our CAD systems. No degree is required, but a passion for CAD and 2 years of entry-level experience is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventor 3D Expertise: Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor 3D, as it is our primary CAD program, is essential for this role.
Knowledge of Vault (Plus): Familiarity with Autodesk Vault is a plus, but not required.
Customer Support: Communicate with internal customers to assist in updating programs and addressing their CAD needs.
Computer Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance of engineering computers, including installing updates and service packs, and ensuring their overall operational functionality.
Troubleshooting: Provide basic troubleshooting and support for hardware and software used in CAD processes.
Model Maintenance: Maintain engineering standard models, updating and migrating them as needed.
Customizations: Maintain AutoCAD and Inventor customizations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Assist with CAD Updates: Collaborate with the engineering team to update CAD models and drawings.
Qualifications:
2 years of entry-level CAD experience.
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor 3D is a must.
Knowledge of Autodesk Vault (preferred).
Strong communication skills for interacting with internal customers.
Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and support for CAD hardware and software.
Self-motivated with a passion for CAD and a keen eye for detail.
Flexibility and adaptability in a smaller, close-knit team environment.
