Job Summary: This position is responsible for the execution of the procurement strategies, supplier selection, and management and inventory management for specific commodities.

Job Duties:

• Executes procurement strategy, supplier selection, and management, as well as inventory management for specific commodities.
• Plan and execute activities to minimize costs and inventories, identify and mitigate supply risk, establish alternative sourcing strategies, and monitor supplier performance for the commodities assigned.
• Purchase Order creation, monitoring, and maintenance of open purchase orders along with prioritizing and expediting materials/products as required to support production and customer requirements.
• Effectively negotiate pricing and delivery of materials and services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Technical Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with MRP generating buying requirements and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
