Job Responsibilities:
  • Expedite and follow up on open purchase orders
  • Update and maintain ERP system with accurate data
  • Collaborate closely with sales team and shop floor personnel
  • Assist in various clerical tasks related to purchasing
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Support inventory management and control
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to process improvements in the purchasing department
  • Assist in cost analysis and vendor negotiations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing or machine shop environment or a bachelors degree is Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • Entry level candidates with strong internship experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000, depending on experience
