Business Systems Analyst
Job Description
Location: West Columbia, SC 29170 (initially), then Orangeburg, SC 29115
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (CTH)
Work Hours: Standard 8 AM – 5 PM (40 hours per week).
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand system requirements and business needs.
- Query databases using SQL Server, Tableau, and Power BI to generate reports and dashboards from scratch.
- Create materials reports related to purchasing, materials management, pricing, finance, order management, and supply chain management.
- Support warehouse management systems (WMS) with a focus on Kinaxis or similar systems.
- Assist in the transition of business systems from Columbia to Orangeburg.
- Collaborate with the integration team to ensure smooth implementation and functionality.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to improve business system processes.
- Work on a fully onsite basis for at least the first year, with potential remote flexibility in the future.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, analytics and reporting.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to build reports and dashboards independently.
- Experience with Tableau and Power BI for reporting and visualization.
- Background in supply chain, order management, or warehousing systems preferred.
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems such as BAAN, MES Pro, Pacman, Kinaxis,or custom ERP solutions is a plus.
- Ability to work with enterprise systems in large-scale projects.
- Degree preferred but not required – hands-on experience is highly valued.
