Position: Business Systems Analyst
Location: West Columbia, SC 29170 (initially), then Orangeburg, SC 29115
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (CTH)
Work Hours: Standard 8 AM – 5 PM (40 hours per week).

Pay Rate:  $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
 
We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst with 5+ years of professional experience to join our team as we embark on a critical system scoping and implementation project. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of the initial scoping phase, continue through the system go-live scheduled for next year. Candidates must be available to start ASAP, be open to training on internal systems, and should have strong experience in business systems analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
 
OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand system requirements and business needs.
  • Query databases using SQL Server, Tableau, and Power BI to generate reports and dashboards from scratch.
  • Create materials reports related to purchasing, materials management, pricing, finance, order management, and supply chain management.
  • Support warehouse management systems (WMS) with a focus on Kinaxis or similar systems.
  • Assist in the transition of business systems from Columbia to Orangeburg.
  • Collaborate with the integration team to ensure smooth implementation and functionality.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to improve business system processes.
  • Work on a fully onsite basis for at least the first year, with potential remote flexibility in the future.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, analytics and reporting.
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to build reports and dashboards independently.
  • Experience with Tableau and Power BI for reporting and visualization.
  • Background in supply chain, order management, or warehousing systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing systems such as BAAN, MES Pro, Pacman, Kinaxis,or custom ERP solutions is a plus.
  • Ability to work with enterprise systems in large-scale projects.
  • Degree preferred but not required – hands-on experience is highly valued.
