Business Analyst - ERP Specialist
Job Description
- Partner with business stakeholders across departments to understand current processes, identify areas for improvement, and document requirements.
- Analyze business needs and translate them into clear and concise functional specifications for the ERP system.
- Work collaboratively with the implementation team to configure the ERP system to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive user documentation and training materials.
- Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system functions as intended.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to users after system implementation.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to ERP systems.
- Seek out continuous improvement opportunities and identify process improvements.
- Create reports for business analytics
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on ERP implementations.
- Proven experience in eliciting requirements, process mapping, and gap analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with Aptean MX OR Epicor Prophet 21 OR Dynamics 365 OR SAP OR Syspro implementations are a a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP system configuration tools.
- SQL querying or business reporting tools experience
