Billing Specialist
Job Description
Location: Rancho Dominguez, CA
Hire Type: Contract – 6 Months
Pay: $22–$25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (overtime as needed)
- Enter and process customer invoices and purchase orders in SAP with a high level of accuracy
- Review purchase orders against contractual agreements to ensure proper billing and compliance
- Research and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, pricing, or purchase orders
- Maintain accurate billing records, documentation, and audit trails within SAP and internal systems
- Generate, update, and manage billing-related reports and data using Microsoft Office tools
- Collaborate with internal teams including finance, procurement, and operations to support billing workflows
- Assist with procurement and order processing activities as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and data protection requirements
- Support month-end or periodic billing activities as assigned
- Perform other billing- or finance-related duties as needed
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2–4 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or purchase order processing
- Hands-on ERP experience required; SAP experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial data
- Solid organizational and time management skills
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures and controls
