Automation Technician/Service Technician

Location: South Elgin, IL
Type: Direct Hire

Pay Range:
Level I: $27-38
Level II: $29-40
Level III: $31-46

Position Overview:
Join our team as an Automation Technician/Service Technician in South Elgin. Build and troubleshoot high-speed automation equipment. Travel opportunities, competitive pay.

Responsibilities:
Assemble custom machinery using drawings and specs.
Build mechanical systems with precision components.
Organize projects for efficiency.
Provide direction to meet deadlines.
Assist in troubleshooting and debugging.

Requirements:
4-6+ years in automation or related.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Read and interpret assembly drawings.
Proficient with hand tools.
Familiar with MS Office, Outlook, Global Shop.
Basic SolidWorks Viewer skills.
Lift parts up to 75 lbs.

Physical Demand 90%, move around manufacturing floor.
Stand, Kneel and work under machinery.
Occasional computer use.
Regular communication with team.
