Job Description

Title: Automated Machinery Technician/Machine Builder (25% Travel - within US, always home on weekends) 
Location: Streamwood, IL 

Hourly Pay: $28hr - $35hr 
Hire Type: Full Time Direct Hire

Job Duties:
  • Help with Upgrades: Give hands-on help to engineering and manufacturing teams when machines are upgraded or changed, and write down any fixes or problems.
  • Test Samples: Check customer product samples to see if they work with our equipment.
  • Final Checks: Do the last quality and performance tests on machines.
  • Install and Fix: Install machines, fix issues, and handle warranty claims quickly by working directly with customers.
  • Customer Help: Be there for customers during machine acceptance visits, making sure everything runs smoothly.

Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or certificate from college or technical school or 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • Minimally 3+ years experience in machine building, service/field technician work, or hands-on experience working with automated machinery 
  • Must have ability to read 3D drawings, electrical and pneumatic schematics
