About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Automation Technician to assemble, start up, and troubleshoot advanced industrial automation equipment. This hands-on role combines mechanical, electrical, and controls expertise in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for fabrication and assembly.
  • Perform complex mechanical assembly, machining, welding, and fabrication.
  • Configure and troubleshoot control systems, including PLC hardware and logic.
  • Wire and test industrial control panels (24VDC–480VAC).
  • Assist with PLC logic modifications under engineering guidance.
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Support equipment startup and commissioning on-site and at customer locations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and field service teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety standards.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience in automation, custom machinery, or field service roles.
  • Skilled in PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
  • Strong background in mechanical assembly, fabrication, and wiring.
  • Proficient reading blueprints, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
  • AWS welding certification preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license; willing to travel as needed.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
