Automation Technician (1st & 2nd Shifts)
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair production equipment to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and plan maintenance and repair methods, including power, electrical, and electronic controls.
- Diagnose equipment issues and determine the tools, supplies, and skills needed for effective repairs.
- Operate machine tools and requisition or fabricate components as necessary.
- Estimate labor and time requirements for repairs to keep production on schedule.
- Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to avoid downtime.
- Keep clear and accurate records of maintenance tasks and collaborate with team members and production supervisors.
- Stay informed about advancements in technology, materials, and methods to bring innovative solutions to the table.
- Experience in diagnosing and repairing power, electrical, and electronic control systems.
- Ability to accurately assess repairs, estimate time, and requisition necessary components.
