Location: Carol Stream, IL
Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 (Experience-Based)

We are a dynamic manufacturing company in Carol Stream, IL, seeking an Automation Engineer to manage and develop advanced automation projects for discrete manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage hardware selection and software development.
Guide hardware design and program development.
Lead teams, plan projects, and adhere to guidelines.
Evaluate and implement new technologies.
Create technical documentation and train personnel.
Potential travel for field trials.
Proficiency in PLC/Motion control (B&R).
Software design skills (Structured text).
Knowledge of C++, .NET is a plus.
Experience with Automation Studio (B&R).
ISO 13849, IEC 60204, NFPA 79 familiarity.
Familiarity with Rockwell Automation, SISTEMA.
Strong communication skills.
English proficiency (French is a plus).
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, or 10 years of relevant experience.
Troubleshooting industrial control systems experience.
Familiarity with Allen-Bradley/Siemens PLCs and industrial networks preferred.
