Assembly Technician
Job Description
Location:Batavia, IL
Hire Type: 6 month contract with full benefits
Salary:$28-$30/hr.

- Assist with mechanical assembly of detector components, including gluing and assembly of large structures
- Support detector testing, measurements, and quality checks using basic QC and measurement equipment
- Work with specialized materials such as carbon-fiber layups
- Document activities, test results, and assembly progress and report findings to the project lead
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in system or component assembly
- Experience with mechanical assembly of large components
- Familiarity with carbon-fiber layup processes
- Experience using basic measuring tools and quality control equipment
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) for a 6-month contract duration
