Job Description

Title: Fabrication Assembly Supervisor 

Hourly Rate: $30hr - $38hr (based on experience) 

Hours/Schedule: 1st Shift - 6/7am start time

Location: Roselle, IL 

Hire Type: Full-time, hourly (40 - 50hrs per week, time & a half $$)

Job Duties:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily assembly operations within the fabrication department to meet production schedules.

  • Lead and mentor a team of assemblers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

  • Ensure quality control by inspecting fabricated components and assembled products to meet company standards.

  • Monitor workflow and production efficiency, making adjustments as needed to optimize performance.

  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve technical issues and process improvements.

  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, enforcing safety regulations and company policies.

  • Ensure all fabrication and assembly processes comply with company procedures and industry standards.

  • Assist in troubleshooting fabrication and assembly challenges, identifying and implementing solutions.

  • Track and report production metrics, ensuring goals for efficiency, quality, and deadlines are met.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, and assembly techniques.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

  • Experience in lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies is a plus.
