Job Description
Sterling Engineering has partnered with a mid sized manufacturing company in New Mexico on bringing in an Assembly Manager to have oversight of quality assurance and assembly.
Responsibilities
- Leads the Product Assembly & Quality Assurance department and their work environment
- Manages/maintains Assembly parts inventory, department tools and supplies
- Actively participates in the assembly of our products according to prints, specifications and customer requirements
- Establishes quality standards and processes to ensure high-quality output
Qualifications
- AA/AAS degree in any trade, relevant technical training in the mechanic arts is preferred
- 3-5 years demonstrated mechanical assembly or millwright experience required
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and best practices
- Aptitude for reading blueprints, BOMs and schematics
- Strong attention to detail, observation, and organizational skills
