Job Summary:
  • This position encompasses responsibility for achieving the desired sales and marketing objectives as established by the company for the Architectural Division in the territory of Illinois & Wisconsin state. This position interfaces with all departments as well as the field sales force and customers.

Job Duties:
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies and objectives as required to attain division growth and profit objectivesImplement and manage lead generation initiatives and qualify new leads
  • Report all sales activities and efforts with a relation to accomplishments
  • Comprehensive understanding of all products and systems offered by Hendrick Architectural Products
  • Build relationships with key accounts and partners including architects, specifiers, engineers, general contractors, and installers
  • Perform AIA and ASLA accredited presentations to architects and the design community
  • Secure product specifications from architectural and design community on new construction projects
  • Set up, attend, and participate in market specific trade shows, conferences, and association meetings
  • Follow up on all quotes and projects with territory and supply status updates
  • Work with designers and production staff on new opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Architects, General Contractors and Installer
  • Maintain and research competitive intelligence regarding direct competitors
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reports as necessary and other duties as assigned


Qualifications:
  • College Degree Preferred or equivalent work experienceMinimum 5 years of sales or business development experience within the construction and architectural market
  • Working knowledge of construction and possess field sales experience in an architectural environment
  • Must be able to travel 3-4 days per week visiting Architects, customers and prospects
  • Ability to comprehend and translate architectural plans and specifications
  • Demonstrated successful career development with proven accomplishments
  • Experience in territory management, including valid reporting and forecasting
