Title: Architectural Project Manager
Location: Des Plaines, IL
Hire Type: Direct hire
Compensation: 76-88k

- Completes assignments reliably while meeting deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintains strong organizational skills and effectively retains and shares knowledge with team members
- Reviews Construction Documents for accuracy and quality; prepares redlines and corrections for review, bidding, permitting, and construction
- Identifies, researches, and develops solutions to technical and design challenges
- Performs comprehensive code research to ensure compliance throughout design and construction documentation
- Manages the permitting process from submission through approval
- Coordinates projects with all external consultants and vendors
- Conducts and manages site observations, preparing detailed site visit reports
- Oversees the Construction Administration phase, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and participating in OAC meetings
- Creates and maintains project documentation in accordance
- Proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft PowerPoint, Enscape, and/or 3D Studio Max
- Supports high-quality drawing production through thorough QA/QC of personal and team work prior to submission to the Senior Project Manager and client
- Actively seeks to expand knowledge by mastering assigned tasks through proactive involvement and initiative
- Produces SD, DD, and CD drawing sets using established examples and template standards
- Confidently interprets and applies applicable building codes to commercial projects
- Works independently with minimal oversight from the team lead
- Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of commercial architectural processes
- Adaptable to changing project needs and receptive to new ideas and feedback
