Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Engineer/Draftsperson to join an architectural products manufacturer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings, plans, and specifications for construction projects, using CAD software. This position requires a high level of technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that project requirements are met.

Job Duties:
  • Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and blueprints using CAD software. 
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that project requirements are met. 
  • Ensure that all technical specifications and building codes are adhered to. 
  • Review and revise drawings as needed to ensure accuracy and completeness. 
  • Communicate effectively with project team members to ensure that project goals are met. 
  • Attend project meetings and site visits as required to ensure that project requirements are met. 
  • Identify potential design or construction problems and propose solutions to project team members. 
  • Work with contractors and builders to ensure that all project specifications are met.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural drafting. 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other CAD software. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. 
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations. 
  • Familiarity with construction practices and materials. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
