Architectural Engineer/Draftsperson
Job Description
- Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and blueprints using CAD software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that project requirements are met.
- Ensure that all technical specifications and building codes are adhered to.
- Review and revise drawings as needed to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate effectively with project team members to ensure that project goals are met.
- Attend project meetings and site visits as required to ensure that project requirements are met.
- Identify potential design or construction problems and propose solutions to project team members.
- Work with contractors and builders to ensure that all project specifications are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other CAD software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Familiarity with construction practices and materials.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
