Job Description
- We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our fast growing and dynamic Engineering team.
- Respond to and develop new customer projects in the cable and connector industry, ensuring familiarity with relevant certifications, product lines, and design standards.
- Utilize control panel design and electrical layout experience to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Drive product development projects for our expanding line of custom and semi-custom injection molded products.
- Create documentation, including Bills of Material, material cut specifications, engineering samples, and test standards for new projects using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and/or Microsoft Office.
- Generate and handle customer quotes as requested.
- Collaborate with customers and vendors to address design specification changes in existing projects, following established procedures to fully implement the changes.
- Provide support to the Production and Quality departments as necessary for both new and existing products.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or in a related technical field or experience in a directly related field required.
- 5+ years of related experience in the cable and connector industry a must.
- Experience with injection molding a plus.
