Direct Hire role: $110,000-$130,000 per year depending on experience.

We're seeking a motivated Applications Engineer in Columbus, Ohio, to support the design and development of automation solutions, create detailed proposals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
Develop detailed technical proposals for automation projects, leveraging mechanical and electrical engineering expertise.
Collaborate with engineering management on complex projects, ensuring accurate pricing and layouts.
Assist in designing products, systems, and processes per customer specs.
Engage third-party vendors in the quoting process as needed.
Provide on-site support for project development and deliver sales presentations.
Prepare estimates for time, quantities, labor, and costs.
Analyze materials and write concise proposals for timely delivery.
Utilize CAD and spreadsheets extensively.
Uphold ethical standards and adhere to safety regulations.

Ability to travel as required.
