Responsibilities:
As an Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Profiling new applications with customers, including gathering functional specifications, defining project timelines, and establishing cost targets.
Planning and modifying product configurations to meet specific customer needs.
Generating accurate and detailed price quotations for customers, including technical submittal information.
Providing troubleshooting and technical support for chillers in the field, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Collaborating with Engineering to select and source major components for custom designs.
Supporting Engineering and Manufacturing throughout the design and assembly process to ensure that all customer requirements are met.
To qualify for this role, you should have:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical).
Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
We are seeking candidates with the following skills and attributes:
Knowledge of Refrigeration Systems (preferred).
Strong understanding of engineering principles and their practical application.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, for effective communication.
Critical thinking skills to assess and evaluate alternative solutions to problems.
Perceptiveness to read and respond strategically to dynamic customer interactions.
Active learning mindset to adapt and apply new information to solve problems.
Active listening skills, demonstrating full attention and empathy when communicating with others.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn ERP systems and processes.
Knowledge or experience with non-corporate work cultures.
