Application Engineer
Job Description
- Manage and support technical projects related to the installation, integration, and optimization of surface mount technology (SMT) and automation equipment.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure project timelines, specifications, and budgets are met.
- Assist with equipment configuration, testing, and troubleshooting during implementation and post-installation phases.
- Provide technical support and documentation for equipment performance, maintenance procedures, and process improvements.
- Conduct site visits as needed to oversee installations and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and service departments to deliver customized solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare detailed reports, project documentation, and status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay current on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in electronics manufacturing and automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related discipline).
- At least one engineering internship or relevant hands-on experience in a manufacturing, automation, or technical environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
