Sterling Engineering is partnered with a stable, growing company looking to hire an Inside Sales Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in metal fabrication and a strong aptitude for sales and estimating. Job Duties:
  • Develop quotes and estimates based on engineered drawings, models, and customer specifications.
  • Engage with customers via phone and email to understand needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Follow up on leads and manage opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on strategies for lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Address customer questions and concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Track and report on sales activities, quote statuses, and customer feedback.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with metal fabrication processes (laser cutting, machining, welding, etc.).
  • Ability to read engineered drawings and apply basic shop math and GD&T.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP systems.
  • High school diploma required; a degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
