Accounts Payable Clerk
Job Description
Location: Gurnee, IL
- Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently using Epicor ERP and DocStar
- Perform three-way match of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Resolve purchase price variances (PPV) in collaboration with the Purchasing team
- Prepare payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Ensure accurate AP records for month-end closing and accruals
- Support process improvements within the AP function
- 2–3 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution setting
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices
- High accuracy, organizational skills, and confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
