AP Specialist
Job Description
- Enter and process approximately 300+ invoices weekly using a green screen system (don’t worry—training provided).
- Match vendor invoices to packing slips and purchase orders (3-way match experience is required).
- Issue weekly check runs and manual checks as needed.
- Update Excel-based reports and debt memos—basic Excel skills are helpful but not advanced.
- Resolve vendor discrepancies and returns in a timely, diplomatic manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and code non-PO invoices.
- Process employee expense reports.
- Reconcile general ledger inventory purchases against physical receipts.
- Apply cash receipts and complete various support tasks including filing and updating internal systems.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, ideally in a smaller manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Comfortable working with green screen software and paper-based processes.
- Experience handling high-volume invoice loads and performing 3-way matches.
- Basic Excel knowledge—enough to work with and update existing spreadsheets.
