Job Description
- Process vendor invoices and manage accounts payable activities, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Assist in the reconciliation of accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and send out customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly cash application reports, ensuring accurate posting of payments.
- Process and record cash receipts, including checks and electronic payments, into the accounting system.
- Support month-end close activities by preparing necessary reports and reconciliations for accounts payable and receivable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on accounts payable and receivable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
