Job Summary: 
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join a dynamic finance department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization by performing essential clerical accounting tasks. Your commitment to accuracy and adherence to established accounting standards will be key as you collaborate with various teams to ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Job Duties:
  • Efficiently handle routine clerical accounting responsibilities within a fast-paced finance department, while maintaining strict compliance with established accounting standards.
  • Provide consistent support to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, contributing to the overall efficiency of financial operations.
  • Participate actively in month-end closing procedures, which involve preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and completing other accounting tasks promptly.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of business transactions and variances, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies. Make well-informed recommendations and implement corrective actions within prescribed guidelines.
  • Generate financial summaries and reports, presenting insights to management on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate in fulfilling year-end audit requests, ensuring a smooth and accurate audit process.
  • Execute precise reporting, meticulous filing, and effective management of databases across multiple systems.
  • Safeguard financial data by diligently completing database backups and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Assist in the preparation, collection, and processing of essential backup documentation, contributing to the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Provide support in various related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability within the finance team.

Qualifications:
  • Possess a minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of hands-on accounting experience, showcasing your familiarity with financial processes.
  • Exhibit a natural aptitude for mathematics, enhancing your ability to handle numerical data accurately.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental financial, tax, and accounting principles and procedures, ensuring compliance and accuracy in your work.
  • Showcase exceptional organizational skills, enabling you to efficiently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Display excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective collaboration and conveying financial insights.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is required. You should also possess the ability and eagerness to learn new systems quickly.
  • Exhibit the capacity to work autonomously and thrive in a team-oriented environment, contributing positively to group objectives.
  • Uphold high standards of responsibility and ethics when handling sensitive financial information, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
