Accountant
Job Description
- Review and analyze project budgets, staffing plans, work schedules, and fee structures.
- Provide timely financial reports, budgets, and project forecasts to project managers and clients.
- Prepare pre-billing reports and ensure accurate invoicing and collections.
- Monitor receivable income and support project managers in collections efforts.
- Update contracts and report budget amendments in accordance with client requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, rules, regulations, and internal control systems.
- Perform special projects and duties as required.
- Analyze capacity utilization, manufacturing deviations, and project value analysis (PPV).
- Prepare project budgets, financial forecasts, project invoicing, project controlling, and billing.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in managing general ledgers, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Microsoft Office suite, and ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a bias for execution.
- Knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
