Job Description

Sterling Engineering is a Chicagoland based recruiting firm that specializes in placing top-tier talent. We have partnered with a manufacturer of lighting products on an AP contract opportunity.

  • 3-6 month contract
  • Hybrid work setting 
  • Located just north of Midway Airport

Job Duties:


  • Enter most types of transactions into major production systems that process significant accounting transactions to vendors or employees in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Enter two way and three-way match Purchase Orders and non-Purchase Orders
  • International and Domestic wire preparation
  • Research discrepancies and reconcile vendor statements


Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of accounts payable experience
  • At least one year experience with some form of ERP (Oracle preferred)
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office Products
