2nd Shift Equipment Maintenance Technician
Job Description
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment and production systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic equipment to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose AC/DC electrical circuits using electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, primarily Allen-Bradley systems; ability to read ladder logic is required. PLC programming experience is a plus.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on pneumatic and hydraulic systems by interpreting system schematics.
- Support robotic production equipment and automation systems.
- Assist with equipment installation, startup, calibration, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, work orders, and equipment history.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to quickly resolve equipment issues and improve reliability.
- Promote a safe work environment by following all company safety procedures and participating in continuous safety improvement efforts.
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics.
- Experience troubleshooting AC/DC electrical systems.
- Experience troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLCs; ladder logic knowledge required. Programming experience is a plus.
- Experience working with automated production equipment and industrial robotics.
- Experience troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-service mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
