Job Description
Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Near Itasca, IL
$$$: 23-27/hr
Type of Role: Contract to Hire, (will convert after 6 months)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper for a client of ours in the machinery manufacturing space. This is a nice, stable company known for its good culture and supportive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR), with a preference for experience in the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications
- Open to being on-site.
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or related accounting experience.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
