Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
- This position will be responsible for the entire additive process from file preparation to final product quality and delivery. Additionally, they will provide customer support in the application of additive techniques to solve design and manufacturing problems.
- Implement and document robust processes and best practices to continuously improve the delivery and quality of company production.
- Establish and iterate on engineering planning and controls in order to produce consistent and repeatable product from print start through customer delivery.
- Support root-cause analysis techniques to troubleshoot printability issues.
- Own additive process qualification efforts.
- Interface and develop solutions with external additive manufacturing companies.
- Stay current and evaluate emerging additive technologies and support implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree, with a major in manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, computer science or other technical degree.
- 2+ years of production, design for production experience, or manufacturing process development
- 3D CAD/ Design software experience
- Fabrication Experience, including experience operating a 3D Printer
- Microsoft products (Excel, Power-Point, Word, Outlook) proficiency
