Job Description

Sterling Engineering has partnered with a growing food packaging manufacturer on bringing Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join their growing team. This person will have a big part in working as a "change agent" and being apart of Kaizen related tasks. 

Overview of Role: 

  • Implement Kaizen (Lean) terminology and methodology. 
  • Oversee the implementation of the Continuous Improvement program. 
  • Participate and lead the site Kaizen and Blackbelt events. 
  • Interact with different departments onsite to complete assigned goals and objectives achieved during Kaizen Events or those that facilitate continuous improvement. 
  • Generate reports and analyze data from various databases to define Kaizen opportunities. 
  • Coordinate a variety of action items to sustain improvements made during Kaizen events

Qualifications:

  • College Degree (Preferably In Manufacturing Related Field) 
  • Experience OR certification in lean manufacturing/Kaizen
