Title: Mechanic

Location: Marshalltown, IA

Hire Type: 6 months - 1 year contract; possibility of going direct

Hourly Rate: up to $25/hr

6AM - 4:30PM, Monday - Friday

Job Duties:

  • Inspect, maintain, trouble shoot, diagnose and repair locomotive motors.
  • Qualify mechanical devices in operation.
  • Perform teardown, repair, replacement, rebuild, re-assembly, installation, adjustment, alignment, and lubrication activities on mechanical equipment.
  • Measure with micrometers and other precision tools.
  • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts
Qualifications:

  • High School diploma
  • Hands-on mechanical experience
