Job Description

Sterling Engineering has been working with an industry-leading manufacturer of food/beverage packaging on bringing in a Packaging Applications Engineer role to help be a driver for the applications sector. This will be a Sr. level position with potential for upward mobility down the line. The company is known for it's great work life balance, and exceptional work culture. 

Location: Rosemont Area
$$$: 100k-125k 

Job Overview:

  • Dedicated bag and box assignments as the primary technical contact with core customers.
  • Technical expert in flexible materials, flexible film manufacturing, film lamination and film converting processes.
  • Provide core customers and new strategic opportunities with proactive technical solutions related to packaging materials, filling, and packaging line equipment.
Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Engineering Field
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience 
  • Experience with in the packaging industry 
  • Experience in Plastic Film or Rigid Plastic Packaging
