Position:  IT Systems Admin
Duration:   This is a Full Time Permanent opportunity.
Location:  Wheaton, IL   60189

I am looking for a Technical Systems Admin to join the IT Department.  In this role you will split responsibilities with Technical Support and troubleshooting and then work on network server support activities.

In this role you will: 
  • Support of Windows OS and Mac (OSX) IT issues for remote and onsite employees including hardware diagnostics, connectivity issues, and software support.  Able to pursue even the most complex situations until resolved.
  • Recommend, purchase, and configure new hardware for new employees, and will train employees on new hardware as needed.
  • Maintain IT department documentation on IT assets and licensing.
  • Provide primary support for the following: ESX/VMware virtual network systems, Citrix systems, Cisco VoIP Systems, and backend SAN. 
  • Help IT Team administer support for most of the following: Microsoft Server 2019 network, Watchguard firewalls, Cisco Meraki switching / Wi-Fi systems, and Office365. 
  • Identify ways to improve the IT Team and company productivity through the deployment of new technologies.
  • Stay on top of IT awareness of technical developments in the industry. 
  • Adhere to policies and procedures, safety and quality programs and company objectives and core values. 
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Computer Technology experience and expert practitioner over systems and devices, with the ability to assimilate new hardware and software quickly and easily to a very high proficiency.   
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field. 
  • 8+ years of experience in Windows operating systems and Active Directory systems administration. 
  • 8+ years of experience with IT hardware selection, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. 
  • 3+ years of experience with Mac operating systems and troubleshooting.
