Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer will have responsibility for the design of custom converting equipment and will interface with other groups for sourcing, assembly, and commissioning. 
Job Duties:
  • Provide engineering support and project management for capital projects and major repair projects.
  • Create, maintain, and keep current documentation and electronic versions of all electrical and pneumatic schematics including panel layouts, PLC, HMI, and Servo Drives programs.
  • Provide expertise in PLC Control Systems and Programming in the development and troubleshooting of Electrical and Automation Control Systems.
  • Design circuit and layout drawings of control and power panels in accordance with NEC and corporate standards
  • Coordinate with engineering and shop personnel on existing machine control modifications to robotic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Assist shop personnel in checking or trouble shooting equipment as required.
  • Coordinate project installations with Maintenance and contractors.
  • Participate in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering preferred; will consider candidates with an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering plus equivalent experience.
  2. Proficient with Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, PLC, and HMI Programming. Experience with Bosch-Rexroth PLC and HMI Programming a plus.
  3. Travel, including internationally as required (up to 30%).
