Job Description
Title: Design Engineer
Location: Raleigh, NC or Greensboro, NC (must be local)
Remote + up to 20% field work local travel

Job Duties:
- Applying sound engineering knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of project assignments
- Interacting with customers and venders in an independent nature
- Following system of quality control and checking on all projects assigned
- Designing in software, creating design packages, running pole analysis
- Investigating existing infrastructure is to assess what service is needed
- Developing gas construction plans and Reviewing existing gas maps and/or roadway plans
- Coordinating with Municipalities for various permits
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited university
· 2-5 years of work experience in electrical distribution or at least 3 years of work experience in a related industry
· Collaborative approach to problem solving
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar
- Basic autoCAD, microstation, GIS skills is preferred
