Sales Engineer
Job Description
- Create and deliver professional presentations that clearly outline custom airflow solution offerings to the assigned customer base as well as prospect accounts.
- Work directly with customers and help to ensure the engineered solution meets system requirements.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of broad product and service offerings to provide expert recommendations that best align with customer needs.
- Complete business activities such as quotations, performance curves, product samples, and drawings.
- Support product management and marketing (market analysis, competitive intelligence, industry trends, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven work experience in a technical sales role
- Proven track record of selling complex enterprise solutions in a manufacturing or engineering design industry
- Solid technical background with an understanding and/or hands on experience in the HVAC industry preferred
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
- Strong desire to learn, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player
- Superior PC knowledge to include MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP and CRM software is preferred
- Willingness to travel – Approximately 35%
