Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Waste Water Treatment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of waste water treatment equipment and facilities. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, as well as knowledge of waste water treatment processes and regulations.

Job Duties:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on waste water treatment equipment, including pumps, motors, valves, and filtration systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues within waste water treatment facilities, diagnosing problems and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of waste water treatment systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Operate and monitor waste water treatment processes, adjusting settings and parameters as needed to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and repairs performed, adhering to established documentation procedures.
  • Collaborate with other members of the waste water treatment team to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in waste water treatment operations and maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of waste water treatment processes, equipment, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and ability to safely work with electrical components.
