Job Summary: 
The Project Manager will assist the Global Facilities Delivery (GFD) Project Management team with the leadership of design, construction, and commissioning scope of 210,000 sq ft device assembly and package facility on a day-to-day basis.  The Project Manager will lead coordination of the fit-out for the Facility with touch points of the adjacent operating facilities and buildings. 

Job Duties:
  • Project Manager: Assist the GFD PM in the management of large capital projects consisting of both employees and contractor professionals to safely achieve project objectives focused on design and construction through operational qualification.  Project objectives are defined as: asset capability or capacity, cost, schedule and compliance.  
  • Compliance: Assist with a disciplined, structured approach to project controls based on compliance with GFD and Company Policies and Procedures.  
  • Safety/Environment: Assist in Maintaining safety and environmental execution plans for projects.  Ensure compliance to safety and environmental policies, procedures, and work rules for project personnel, contractors, and subcontractors from conceptual design through operational qualification.
  • Interface/Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with project team, business partners and other stakeholders as the size of the project may dictate.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in a field related to design and construction, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of previous experience in design and construction of manufacturing or related industrial facilities.
  • Project Size:  Previous experience on projects greater than $100 million.
  • Experience in many of the following areas:   Automation, construction, construction quality, project controls, the engineering disciplines, safety, scheduling.
