Lead Process Engineer
Job Description
- Ensuring the safety of plant designs
- Considering environmental impacts in design
- Conducting relevant reviews as per procedures and customer contracts (e.g., Design Reviews, Risk Assessments)
- Ensuring compliance with local legislation and regulations for engineering design
- Owning the engineering execution model throughout the project lifecycle
- Interpreting contractual requirements, defining design deliverables, and creating a plan for the design phase
- Generating and maintaining the time schedule for the engineering phase
- Identifying resource needs and keeping resource managers informed of ongoing changes
- Ensuring coherent integration of all scope elements/sub-systems and clear definition of external interfaces
- Capturing, storing, and maintaining design information in a structured and accessible location
- Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline (e.g., Process, Mechanical, Electrical)
- Experience in Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, and other hygienic industries
- Experience leading technically oriented teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) is advantageous
- SAP experience is beneficial
