Job Summary: 
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant production machinery, support equipment, and other systems throughout the facility to maintain optimum operating conditions and plant productivity. The Maintenance Technician also assists with related upgrades, improvements, and assigned projects as required.

Job Duties:
  • Perform job assignments from work orders, sketches, or verbal instructions, following applicable codes.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Install, modify, and relocate machinery; perform fabrication, welding, and other maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and systems (e.g., compressors, chillers, cooling towers).
  • Use measuring and testing equipment to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
  • Maintain logs, records, and system readings; document completed work orders.
  • Follow environmental, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience working as a Maintenance Technician. 
  • Experience working with production equipment and building utilities within a manufacturing environment.
  • Allen Bradley PLC (ControlLogix, SLC-500, & PLC5) experience.
  • Understanding of servo control systems and variable frequency drives.
  • Experience with power distribution up to 480 VAC is preferred.
